“When I first see and touch a fabric, it feels like it tells me what sort of clothing item it is meant to be.”
Fall-Winter ’18/’19 is an ode to the no man’s land materials. On January 21-22 we welcomed our famiglia to the no man’s land fabric atelier at the Modefabriek. Here they could feel and touch the story of the no man’s land materials. The texture, the fit, the colours – they all come together in a garment that feels naturally right and is designed to stand the test of time. We presented our newest collection, with tactile eye-catchers made with soft and furry yarns, bouclé, fringes, jacquard and garter stitch. This last stitch is also applied in integral knitting, a relatively new knitting technique that knits the whole garment from sleeve to sleeve with a single yarn. This results in a garment without seams and, more importantly, without waste. Alongside knits, we presented a variety of jacquard, velvet, lace, luxury Cupro and silk fabrics. We want to thank the friends that visited us and wish everyone the best of luck with the new fashion season!
