The Dylan Hotel Amsterdam

05 Jul 2016

We’ve got a new favourite hotspot: The Dylan Amsterdam! It is based at the Keizersgracht in the city centre of Amsterdam and here we had a lovely dinner with the head office team of no man’s land. We started the evening with a glass of red wine and an assortment of flat bread, self-made humus and five different cheeses at the lounge of the hotel. The surrounding was warm and roomy, because of the big brass mirrors, which rose from the wooden floor up to the high ceiling.

We left the wonderful lounge and walked through the high hallway in the direction of Bar & Brasserie OCCO for our dinner. The surrounding was wonderful! The round, feminine shape of the bar was consistent throughout all the furniture. Brass, velvet and marble are chosen to stay in line with the traditional feel of the hotel and create a perfect mixture of classic and modern style, which fits seamlessly with the rest of the hotel. Bricks on the floor and wooden stools add a touch of roughness and the warmth is emphasized by a colour scheme that holds shades of ochre, grey, sand and brown. While we were completely in our element we’ve enjoyed more red wine and ate a lovely dinner.

The restaurant is daily opened from 09.00 till 01.00 at the Keizersgracht 384, near to our favorite shopping area: the Negen Straatjes!
