Golden bread

Besides celebrating Christmas at home, you also celebrate it with your colleagues! Here at the head office of no man's land we had our celebration with a real Italian delicacy: 'pandoro', literally: golden bread. This cake, originally from Venice, is now a specialty of Verona. The bread has a light structure and is baked in a high and round baking mold. During the holidays in December it will be served in slices, together with sweet hot drinks or a sweet wine, like spumante or moscato. The golden bread is also available with fruits, known as 'panettone', which is a specialty from Milan.
